Billie Laake DeBaun

Billie Laake DeBaun passed away Monday March 10, 2025, in Bastrop, Texas at the age of 90. She went gently and peacefully into heaven. We have no doubt Dad came down and took her hand to help make this journey and they are in each other’s loving arms once again.
Mom is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Odie Laake, brother Ken Laake and loving husband Jim DeBaun.
Mom is survived by Leslie Cosby (Ken), Jimmy DeBaun (Patty), Jenna Anding (Jack), Donna Johnson, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Although she will be missed beyond words, we know she will continue to love and watch over us for the rest of our lives. God just needed her more and we praise him for answering our prayers. Till we meet again.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Bastrop County Animal Services 589 Cool Water Drive, Bastrop, Texas.
