Brenda Gomez-Soto

On Thursday, July 15, 2021, Brenda Gomez, a loving partner and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 29.

She was born March 25, 1992, in Austin, TX, to Bartolo and Blanca Gomez, a blessing to two incredible parents. Brenda was a person of high moral standards who was not afraid to speak her mind. She was our moral compass, making sure we always did the right thing. When we would fall short, she would remind us that we are better, and how she wanted nothing less than the best for us.

She spent her time raising three astonishing young men: Yahir, Julian, and Petey. She passed onto them her passion for the arts, cooking, and all kinds of games. It is nothing short of a tragedy to have lost someone so beautiful, who played so many important roles in our lives. She is a daughter, sister, a tia, a friend, a life partner, and mother.

Brenda was a strong woman. She loved fiercely, lived fiercely, and fought fiercely. In everything she did, she showed a passionate and powerful intensity. We celebrate her life by remembering all the lessons she has ever taught us. We are all so lucky to have such a strong angel watching out for us.

Nació el 25 de marzo de 1992 en Austin, TX, de Bartolo y Blanca Gomez, una bendición para dos padres increíbles. Brenda era una persona de altos estándares morales que no temía decir lo que pensaba. Ella era nuestra brújula moral, asegurándose de que siempre hiciéramos lo correcto. Cuando nos quedábamos cortos, ella nos recordaba que somos mejores y que quería nada menos que lo mejor para nosotros.

Es nada menos que una tragedia haber perdido a alguien tan hermoso, que jugó tantos papeles importantes en nuestras vidas. Es hija, hermana, tía, amiga, compañera de vida y madre.

Brenda era una mujer fuerte. Amaba con fiereza, vivía con fiereza y luchó ferozmente. En todo lo que hacía, mostraba una intensidad apasionada y poderosa. Celebramos su vida recordando todas las lecciones que nos ha enseñado. Todos somos muy afortunados de tener un ángel tan fuerte cuidándonos.
