Deloy Brinkmann

Deloy Denis Brinkmann, age 88, of Smithville, Texas, a retired electrician from The University of Texas died Sunday December 8, 2019.

Deloy was born in Caldwell, Texas on October 24, 1931 to Adolph and Minnie Brinkmann. He resided in Austin and then Smithville. He joined the Navy on July 24, 1951. He  enjoyed working on motorcycles, playing golf and shooting pool.

Deloy was preceded in death by: his wife, Dorothy Brinkman; 3 daughters; and many of his brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Brinkmann; nephews, Dwight (Carol) Brinkmann, Bruce (Kathleen) Brinkman; and close friend and long time caregiver, Amber Wilson.
