Helen Doris Simmons went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 8, 2021 at the age of 84. She was born in Bryan, Texas in 1936 to Effie and John Henry Clyburn.
Helen was mainly a stay at home Mom but back in the 1970s she was a waitress at the original Night Hawk Steakhouse in Austin for about a year. After retirement she had more time for the things she enjoyed like working in her beautiful yard, cross stitching, crocheting and creating scrapbooks of all the photos she took over the years. In her later years she loved to spend time playing dominoes and bingo with her friends.
