Howard Snyder

Howard "Doug" Snyder passed away at his home surrounded by his family on December 10, 2018. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Leonard and Hazel Snyder on September 8, 1947.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Doug is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rogene Snyder; five children, Marisa Snyder, Lori Varney (Steve), Amy Meyers (Marc), Stanley Snyder (Heather), Duke Snyder; eight grandchildren, Emily Blach, Blake Meiller, Logan Varney, Ethan Meyers, Eli Meyers, Enzo Meyers, Lucas Snyder, Carson Snyder; and three brothers, Leonard Snyder (Margie), Ray Snyder (Barbara) and Forest Snyder.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cella Bella's Hospice in loving memory of Doug Snyder.

Family and Friends will gather from 12:00pm to 1:00pm pm Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. A celebration of Doug's life will begin at 1:00pm.

Military Honors will be rendered at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
