Jeanne Wilkins

Jeanne Coulter Wilkins, age 88, peacefully passed through the Gates of Heaven on July 23rd, 2017.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy and her oldest son, Cliff.

She is survived by her two sons Jim and Doug, her daughters-in-law Cindy Wilkins, Bonnie Wilkins, and Jackie Wilkins. Also surviving Jeanne were her seven Grandchildren, Shae and JP Wilkins (Cliff's sons), Jay Wilkins and Georgeanne Erickson (Jim's children), and Shane, Courtney and Ryan Wilkins (Doug's children). Jeanne was also blessed with eight beloved Great-Grandchildren.

Jeanne was a faithful Christian and was a member of the United Methodist Church for most of her adult life. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, and grandmother who guided and counseled her children with wisdom, sensitivity and humor. Jeanne loved just about everyone and only saw the best qualities in the people she met. She had a smile and laugh ready for every encounter and experience.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Bastrop at 1201 Main St, Bastrop TX 78602

Two memorial services will be held for Jeanne: One in New Braunfels at Vista Village retirement community on Tuesday, August 1st at 10AM and one in Bastrop, Texas at the Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral home on Saturday, July 29th at 10AM.
