Jerry Denson Williams, age 75, of Bastrop was called to his Heavenly Home on October 28, 2019. He was born December 4, 1943 in Bastrop to Hubert Vincent and Grace (Farmer) Williams. On February 6, 1981 he married Kay Davenport in Austin.
Jerry retired after 30 years service with the General Service Commission of Texas. He and Kay have lived in Bastrop for the past 34 years.
Jerry was an avid fisherman and coon hunter. He was a member of the Bastrop Bass Club and the Bass Club for the Deaf of South Austin for many years. He was a big man with a big heart of gold for all his family and friends. His face was most always shining with a huge smile. He will be missed by many.
Jerry was preceded in death by: his parents; a sister, Elva Robinson; a brother-in-law, Nolan; and a nephew Coady Robinson.
Jerry is survived by: his wife of 38 years, Kay; a daughter, Sally Lopez (Jose); sons, Emilio (Bertha) and Larry (Tina); 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces, Sandra Robinson and Lisa McKee (Bill); 1 great-nieces; and 5 great-nephews.
