John Denton

John "Barry" Denton, 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25th. He implored me to not make a big deal out of his death. He wanted simple, without all of the to-do. He was an Air Force veteran, owner of Honda of Ottawa for 26 years, a generous philanthropist, a dedicated husband for 45 years, and an unwavering, supportive father, grandfather, & great-grandfather.

He will be greatly missed by many and lovingly greeted at the gates by his parents, his Jan, and his Deano. At his request, no visitation, funeral, or gathering will be held. A burial will occur at a later date in Springfield. Any remembrances in his honor should be directed to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or Wounded Warriors Foundation.
