Joyce Elaine Terry

Joyce Elaine Terry, born on September 28, 1944, in Alice, Texas, passed away on February 17, 2025, in Bastrop, Texas. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Terry; her parents, Silas and Eula Coleman; and her sisters, Edith Thacker and Beverly Wilbur. 

Joyce is survived by her two sons, Edwin (Carolyn) and Brian (Susan); eight grandchildren: Edwin Jr. (Anna), Christian (Shaun) Lewis, Erik (Marcy) Martinez, Leon Martinez (Jessica), Brian Jr. (Amanda), Sean (Celena), Ray (Branda), and Dustin (Kassie); fifteen great-eighteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews as well as many cherished family members and friends. 

Joyce’s life was filled with love for her family across multiple generations. She found joy in cooking, exploring the mountains of Georgia, and riding Harley motorcycles. Her presence brought warmth to those around her and created lasting memories for all who knew her.
