Joy W. Kee

Joy W. Kee, wife and mother, passed away Friday March 3, 2023. Mrs. Kee was born on May 31,1939 In Gorman, Texas, the daughter of Thomas A. and Joy J. (Cox)Wagner. Joy graduated from Patti Welder High School in Victoria, Texas where she met and married J. Carl Kee. She worked periodically as an Accountant, substitute Teacher, and Chemist. She had been a member of the Eastern Sta and did work with the Internal Order of the Rainbow for Girls, was most recently active in the Daughters of the American Revolutions. Joy enjoyed sewing, reading and historical re-creation activities through participation in the Society for Creative Anachronism. She is survived by her brother, Thomas J. Wagner, son and daughter-in-law, James S. and Michelle L. (Yaples) Kee, her daughter, Beverly S. Kee, 2 grandsons and 3 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and their children. The Family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
