Kay Hefner Jackson

Kay Hefner Jackson, beloved daughter, wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the age of 76.

Kay was the daughter of the late Price Hefner and Doris Glass Hefner of Watterson, Texas. She was raised in a home filled with warmth, faith, and the values of hard work and compassion. Kay was shaped by her upbringing in the Watterson community and the example set by her mother, a charter member of Hills Prairie Baptist Church.

Kay married the late Terry Jackson of Olney, Texas in 1968 and they lived together for 46 years. They both were long time members of the Hills Prairie Baptist Church. Kay worked in the banking industry for many years. Then she and Terry owned and operated the Jackson Gulf/Chevron. They were passionate about travel and took many trips over the years with family and friends.

Kay is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Shelley and Ricky Glasgow, and a beloved niece, Chancey Glasgow, and her husband, Bo Beauregard, all of Pflugerville, Tx.

Her family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the friends that supported Kay over the years. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025 at 2pm at Watterson Cemetery in Bastrop, Tx. Funeral arrangements by Marrs -Jones- Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Tx.
