Kay F. Williams has been laid to rest on August 4, 2023, at the age of 74 in Bastrop, TX
Kay was born in Laurel, Mississippi to Doris Mosher and George Davenport in which she preceded in death along with her husband Jerry D. Williams.
Kay is survived by her three children: Emilio G Salinas III, Sally Salinas Lopez and Larry H Salinas, and his wife Tina. Kay has 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She also is survived by her siblings, Karen Forester, Brenda House, Gary Davenport and Greg Mosher, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kay attended school at the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin, TX and at the Sunshine Cottage in San Antonio, TX. She worked for the State of Texas as a Data Entry Processor.
Kay loved to socialize; she would attend ASL Chats, Birthdays, Family Reunions, any breakfast, lunch or dinner, she truly loved to be with her family. She would attend all sorts of gatherings with family and friends and invite people to attend with her. She always would say “more people make it more fun!”. No matter the distance you could always count on Kay to be there enjoying her time with family and friends. Kay also loved to crochet, she would make small things as hats or beanies to as large as blankets and sweaters!
Kay will be truly missed by many, in the hearts of those who loved you, you will always be there. As you were you will always be, treasured forever in our memory. We keep in our heart the love of the past, for there it was planted forever to last. Your presence we miss, your memory we treasure, loving you always, Forgetting You Never.
