Mack Morgan

Mack Morgan was born on June 10th, 1930, in Hubbard, Texas to the late William Earl Morgan and Mary Ruth McClinton. He passed away on May 10th, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Mack was a long-time resident of Cedar Creek, Texas and retired from Bastrop County, Precinct 3.

Growing up, Mack attended Bynum High school. From there he enlisted in the Navy and was Honorably discharged.

Mack was an avid member of the Wyldwood Baptist Church’s congregation and volunteered his time at the Bastrop Senior Center.

Those who he leaves behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Beverly Morgan, his children, Mack Dewayne Morgan, Stacey Bartley, Trey Morgan, and Ella Ruth Britton, eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Serving as Pallbearers are the following: Michael Morgan, Derek Morgan, Dylan Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Zachary Morgan, and Dale Bartley.

Honorary Pallbearers:  Paul Smith and Steve Slater.

The family invites those who knew Mack to celebrate his legacy at the following services being held for him at Marrs Jones Newby, 505 Old Austin Hwy, Bastrop, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 14th, 2023, at 4:00pm – 7:00pm.

The Funeral Service is to follow on Monday, May 15th beginning at 10:00 am, preceded by a

Graveside service that will take place12:30pm, at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.

Please join us at the Bastrop Senior Center for a get together and a meal after graveside services conclude.

In lieu of flowers the family asks, that donations be made to the Bastrop Senior Center.
