Neal Mckinley Ross, Jr.

Neal “Mac” McKinley Ross, Jr., 83, of Cedar Creek, TX entered into his eternal rest on July 16^th, 2023, in the comfort of his own home.

Mac was born on October 23^rd, 1939, to parents Neal and Alma Ross in Jacksonville, TX. He attended Bastrop High School and graduated in 1960. Mac had a passion for Motorcycle Racing which is a legacy his family continues to this day. He also loved all sports including football, baseball, and track and field. He poured his wisdom and love that he had for the game into many young adults as their coach.

To cherish Mac’s memories that he leaves behind is the love of his life, Elsie Powell Ross, his children; Kenneth Ross, Gina and husband Nate, Holly and husband Andrew, his loving grandchildren; Aimee Bartsch, Harley Ross, Raymie Ross, and Zachary Coronado. Also, to cherish his memories are his nieces, Margaret Ann Farmer, and Belinda and husband Al Gomez

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20th, 2023, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home. A Celebration of Mac’s Life will also be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 21^st, 2023, at 10 AM. Interment will be held at High Grove Cemetery immediately following the services.
