Paul Anthony Chauvin

Born on July 20th,1970 in Franklin, Louisiana to Larry and Patricia Chauvin. Passed away November 3rd,2021 at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas with his wife, Willie Chauvin by his side. His wife and children were the light of his life. Their son, Evan Chauvin, loved when his daddy would tell corny jokes that only Paul found funny. Being an Eagle Scout himself as a young boy, he enjoyed spending quality time teaching Evan how to be a Boy Scout. Their daughter, Shelbie Chauvin, adored her daddy almost as much as he did her. She loved getting tickles from her daddy. She was his Pumpkin, and he was here Tickle Monster. After graduating from Franklin Sr. High in 1988, he went on to trade school to study electronics. He spent 25 years as a Telecom Tech with MCI and Verizon. Many are not lucky to love their job, but Paul did.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Willie Chauvin. Their two children Evan Paul and Shelbie Leona Chauvin. His parents Larry and Patricia Chauvin. His brother Lynn Chauvin, his wife Chandra, and their four kids Justin, Caitlyn, Landen, Lauren. His brother Kiley Chauvin. His sister Kristy Chauvin and her daughter Kristen.

The family wants to extend their thanks to the Bastrop community and Paul’s Verizon team for all their love and support during this difficult time!!

Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am of Friday, November 12, 2021 at Ascension Catholic Church in Bastrop, Texas.
