Rachel Coy ("Mimo") died unexpectedly but peacefully on March 25, 2019 at the age of 68.
Born to Mr. & Mrs. Victor & Janie Coy on September 10, 1950 in Austin, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Monica Vasquez (Bobby), Jesus "JB" Portillo Jr. and Rebecca Coy-Shaw. Grandchildren Joseph, Kelsie, Jonathan, Justin, Raina, Ariah and Jayce, great grand-children Gianna, Kyleigh, Matthew, Vincent and Elijah. Brothers and sisters, Victor III, Paul, James, Mary Jane Goebler, Cecilia Coy, Virginia Coy, Dorothy Salas, Jacob, nieces, nephews, and countless cousins .
She is preceded in death by June Marie Portillo (daughter) and (parents) Mr. & Mrs. Victor & Janie Coy.
She looked forward and enjoyed organizing her monthly luncheons with the Golden Comadres.
She strived to live life as effortlessly as she could, dedicating her goodness and strengths with us. The amount of time you spent with her will not diminish the effect that she had on you. Whenever you smile or shed a tear over a memory or share her story to someone else you will continue to keep her alive in your heart.

A Celebration of Rachel's life will be held at 12:00pm on April 6, 2019 at the Primera Baptist Church in Bastrop, Texas under the direction and care of Officiating Pastor, Greg Coy.
