Regina Lynn Hester

Regina Lynn Johnson Hester, 53, of Bastrop, Texas died Sunday November 17, 2019 at her home.

She was born October 4, 1966 in Galena Park, TX to W. H. W. and Evelyn Johnson. They moved to Bastrop, Texas in 1977 where she graduated high school and started a family. Her family moved and grew and moved again. She finally settled back down in Bastrop where she met and married her loving husband. Though she pursued many hobbies and interests throughout  her life, her greatest passion was always for her loved ones, kids and grandkids, the family pets and her roses.  Her love for others was so great it overflowed into her career, leading her to obtain her CDL and drive for BISD. Her warm spirit and positive attitude impacted everyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting her and she will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Johnson, Her father, W. H. W. Johnson and her stepmom Velma Jo Carston.

She is survived b y her husband,John Hester of Bastrop, Texas; two children, Meagan Glenn of Rockport, Texas and Zack Glenn of Kingsland, Texas; two sisters, JoAnn Womack of Palestine, Texas and Tonya Neal of Bastrop, Texas and sever grandchildren.

A Memorial service will held for her at 1:00pm Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Hampton Inn & Suites, 240 Haisler Blvd., Bastrop, Texas.
