Rev. Robberson

Reverend Phillip Gary Robberson, age 78 of Bastrop, entered Heaven's gate on November 13, 2016. Phillip was born November 9, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas to Roy L. and Wilma Ann (Frasier) Robberson. He married Beverly (Hien) Robberson on September 10, 1961 in San Antonio.

Phillip was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of Southwest Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and a 50 year Mason.
He pastored various Methodist churches for 52 years.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by: his wife of 55 years, Beverly (Hien) Robberson; daughters, Kimberly Robberson and Jennifer Broussard and husband Gordon; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Broussard, Amber Eason, Marissa Broussard, Summer Eason and Fiancé Mike Pacheco, Jonathan Eason and Nicki Carpenter; and three great-grandchildren, Nathan Eason and twins, Leighton and Landon Pacheco.

A Gathering of Friends and relatives will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00pm Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Schulenburg with interment following in Freyburg United Methodist Church Cemetery.
