Russell Jones

Russell D. Jones was born in Orange County, California in 1962 and passed in Cedar Creek, Texas on November 29, 2024. 

Russell was the youngest of five brothers. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers and playing music with them. His mother was his biggest fan. He was a good husband and loved his wife dearly. He was a great uncle to all of his many nieces and nephews. 

His home was always open to family and friends. If you were lucky enough to see Russell with his lovely wife Regina, then would catch a glimpse of the real Russell Jones.

Russell is survived by his wife Regina Jones and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Jerry Jones; brothers, Benny Lee, James, Robert, Joseph Lee; and 1 nephew, Robert Lee. 

A celebration of Russell's life will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas. 

Family and friends will gather from 2:00pm to 4:00pm to celebrate the life and memory of Russell D Jones.
