Staci Beth Calvert passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26th, 2024 after a brief illness.
Staci was born on September 15th, 1965 in Springfield, Missouri. The family also lived in Ft. Worth, Texas and Annandale, Virginia before settling in Bastrop, Texas. She graduated from Bastrop High School in 1983 and attended the University of Texas for one year. Her love of all things Longhorns continued throughout her life.
She started her professional life at Bastrop Abstract Company. She then went to work for the law office, working for Phil Ducloux, James Kershaw, and Will Jenkins.
Staci devoted much of her time in service to others. She was an active member of Calvary Episcopal Church for many years, where she was an altar server, vestry member, and on the altar guild. She also served the Bastrop community as an election judge.
Staci was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Pat Calvert. She is survived by her sister, Cyndi Hannusch, her niece, Megan Welch and her husband Michael, her nephew, Jordan Hannusch and his partner Luis Cignoni, great nephews Finley and Bowen Welch, and great niece, Birdie Welch.
A service to celebrate Staci's life will take place at 10:00am on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at Calvary Episcopal Church.
