Ted Lyle Osborn passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on February 14, 2022, with his wife Linda by his side.
Born on August 4, 1959, in Bastrop, TX to Elvira Norment and Curtis Osborn. Ted attended Bastrop High School. His love of livestock started at a young age, beginning from raising show steers with FFA. Ted truly loved working daily with his cattle, the best fed cattle in all of Bastrop. His passion was working with his cows and horses and riding throughout the countryside. Ted spent countless hours tinkering outside, he didn't believe in sitting still for too long. He always enjoyed a hot cup of coffee especially, coffee he could enjoy amongst his friends. Never shy for words, Ted was always in conversation, he never met a stranger. He left an impression on everyone he knew and will be deeply missed.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Linda Osborn; mother, Elvira Norment and partner, Toby Diaz of Bastrop, TX; father, Curtis Osborn of Red Rock, TX; children, Richard Sanchez of Bastrop, TX; Jessica Sanchez Richardson and wife, Becks of Bastrop, TX; Regina Sanchez and boyfriend, Jesse of Round Rock, TX; Tabitha Osborn-Gilcrease and husband, Alvin of Cedar Creek, TX; Shellie Osborn of Bastrop, TX; Patrick Osborn, Josh Osborn; sisters, Pam Andrade of Crosby, TX, Wanda Rucker and husband, Johnny of Bastrop, TX, Sherry Wright and husband, Tracy of Hutto, TX; grandchildren, Madyson Osborn, Hannah Osborn, Patrick Osborn Jr, McKenzie Hawkin, Tabitha Hawkin, Wesley Rohlack. As well as multiple nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Ted was preceded in death by his loving brother, Dale C. Osborn; paternal grandparents, Winnie and Lonnie Osborn; maternal grandparents, Gertrude and Anton Beck; aunt, Myrtle Wilhelm; uncle, Pat Beck, uncle, Leroy Beck, uncle, Wayne Osborn, uncle, Derwood Osborn, niece, Tonya Rucker and stepfather, Don Norment.
A celebration of Ted's life will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, with the service starting at 10:00am in the chapel of Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home at 505 Old Austin Hwy, Bastrop, TX 78602. Burial will follow the chapel service in Hendrix Cemetery located off of FM 535.
