Terence Winfield Travland

Terence Winfield Travland was born on July 31^st, 1932, to Willard and Mary Pearl Hanchett Travland, and passed away on July 3^rd, 2023. Terence grew up in Sweetwater, Texas, where he graduated from high school. He proudly went on to graduate from the University of Texas in Austin with a Bachelor of Science. He taught high school history before employment with the Texas Workforce Commission, retiring after 37 years of dedicated service.

Terence enjoyed his family, traveling and reading, particularly on his Kindle. He was married almost 62 years to the love of his life, Edith Baldridge, and they have one daughter Miriam Jansky of Austin, TX.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Edith, daughter Miriam, son-in-law Douglas Jansky, and grandson Dylan, a student at Texas A&M University.

Terence was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Bastrop, where his Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 10^th, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. Graveside Services will be held at Little River Cemetery near Maysfield, Texas immediately following services at the church.
