William “Bill” Anderson Stewart left this world on August 21, 2022 at the age of 63. He was born in Warren, Ohio to Frederik and Lucille Stewart. He was the little brother of Ronald Stewart. He was interested in music and played the tuba in the school band. He also became an Eagle Scout. It was during this part of his life that he developed his love for camping.
After high school he attended the Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science. He began his career in Technology as a Computer Software Engineer. After one year of working in Ohio, his company transferred him to Northern California. He worked for various tech companies over the years and ultimately started his own Technology Business. He received many awards and recognitions throughout his career in the tech field.
He met his wife Patricia when they were both working for Triad in Livermore. They shared the love of camping and travel. In the early years of their life together they camped once a month. Later they bought an RV and enjoyed camping with their 3 grandchilden. Their travels took them to almost every state in the nation, many tropical islands, and several countries. Most recently they enjoyed traveling on cruise liners. In 2012, they decided they wanted a change of pace and left California for Texas. They bought a lovely home in Cedar Creek and found a wonderful community where they made great new friends. Bill became a part of the New Life in Christ Church community.
He is survived by his step son, Brian; daughter in law, Alicia; grandchildren, Unica, Makela and Brisa Yepez; his brother, Ronald and sister in law, Nancy, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Marrs Jones Newby Funeral Home in Bastrop, Texas.
He will be laid to rest at High Grove Cemetery in Cedar Creek, Texas.
